SEMrush agency

Rated #1 SEO agency in The Netherlands by SEMrush

Most enterprise SEO arrives as a 200-page PDF audit. Nobody turns it into a ticket. Reported as one global organic line.

An enterprise SEO agency earns the name when its recommendations survive contact with your release train. Thousands of URLs, a legal team, a brand team, regional marketers, an IT backlog and two CMSes do not respond to a PDF. They respond to a template fix written as a ticket an engineer can act on, a crawl budget case backed by log files, and a hreflang cluster verified per market. LASEO is a 100% SEO agency from Amsterdam, senior consultants only, rated the #1 SEO agency in the Netherlands by SEMrush. We brought 17 Philips storefronts across 8 languages and 2 headless CMSes under one SEO architecture. That is the scale we work at.

How an enterprise SEO engagement runs

How a LASEO enterprise SEO engagement runs

Five phases over the first 12 months. Each phase ends with a decision document and artefacts shipped into your backlog, your CMS or your reporting stack, never a PDF.

  • 01

Stakeholder map and crawl at scale (weeks 1-3)

We start with the people, not the crawl. Who owns each template, which CMS renders which market, how a change gets from ticket to production, who signs off on legal and brand. Then the crawl: Screaming Frog segmented by template, your Botify or Lumar exports if you run one, GSC per property and log files from the CDN or origin. Output: a template inventory and a crawl-budget map showing where Googlebot spends its time.

  • 02

Template-level backlog and governance rules (weeks 3-6)

Every finding is attached to a template, scored on URLs affected, revenue exposure per market and engineering effort, and written as a ticket with acceptance criteria. Alongside the backlog we write the governance rules: URL structure, canonical logic, hreflang specification, redirect policy, indexation rules for parameters and facets, schema per template. This becomes the specification every CMS, agency and regional team builds against. Output: a prioritised Jira backlog and a governance document your platform team signs.

  • 03

Technical fixes shipped through the release train (months 2-6)

We work inside your sprint cadence. Tickets are refined with the engineering lead, pull requests are opened where we have repo access, and every deploy is verified with a targeted re-crawl, a log-file check and the Merkle hreflang tester where markets are involved. Core Web Vitals are fixed per template, the way we took LCP, INP and CLS green across the Canon Medical Systems Europe portfolio. Regressions are caught by a scheduled crawl, not by a traffic drop months later.

  • 04

Content and authority at template scale (months 3-9)

Content on an enterprise site is a template problem too. We write the content model per template (title patterns, H1 logic, spec blocks, FAQ and schema) and brief the pages that carry revenue per market rather than rewriting thousands of pages by hand. For Palo Alto Networks that means website copy that clears brand guidelines and legal review. Link building targets the market and product hubs that need authority, with editorial placements per country, the way Bang & Olufsen got 12 PR articles on premium publishers.

  • 05

Per-market reporting and runbook (month 2 onward)

Looker Studio pulls GSC per property, GA4 per market and crawl status per template, so the scorecard shows which storefront compounds and which template regressed after the last release. Nothing is blended into one global organic line. Everything we set up is documented in a Notion runbook with Loom walkthroughs: governance rules, redirect policy, hreflang spec, dashboard logic, escalation contacts. When the SEO lead moves on or the agency roster changes, the next person starts from the runbook, not from zero.

02 - How we work

Think of us asthe senior SEO layer between your markets and your engineers.

Your in-house SEO lead or digital director owns the roadmap, the stakeholders and the budget conversation. Regional marketing teams own local campaigns and tone of voice. Engineering owns the release train. We sit in between: the senior consultants who turn a crawl of thousands of URLs into a prioritised backlog, write each fix as a Jira ticket or Git pull request the platform team can act on, verify the deploy with Screaming Frog and log files, and report per market in Looker Studio. For Philips and Signify that meant 17 storefronts, 8 languages and 2 headless CMSes under one SEO architecture, with local teams keeping room for market nuance. We do not replace your team. We make the SEO work move through it.

What an enterprise SEO agency actually does

Enterprise SEO, explained without the agency fog

Enterprise SEO is the same discipline as any SEO, run under three constraints that change everything: scale (thousands of URLs, so you fix templates, not pages), stakeholders (legal, brand, product, IT and regional marketing all hold a veto) and change control (nothing goes live outside a release). Each constraint has a shortcut that looks efficient and one right answer that is expensive to retrofit later.

01

Templates, not pages, are the unit of work

On a site with thousands of URLs, no team can edit pages one at a time. Every URL is rendered by a template: product, category, article, locale hub, support page. A canonical bug in the product template is one bug on every product in every market. The enterprise SEO audit that matters is a crawl segmented by template, with each finding scored by the URLs it touches, not a list of pages.

02

Crawl budget is real at enterprise scale

Googlebot does not crawl an unlimited number of URLs per day on your domain. On a small site that never matters. On a site with faceted navigation, session parameters, search result pages and locale variants, it means your new product pages wait behind a queue of junk URLs. Log-file analysis shows where the budget actually goes. Robots rules, canonicals, parameter handling and internal linking redirect it to the URLs that earn money.

03

Migrations are where enterprise authority dies

Replatforming from Adobe Experience Manager or Sitecore to a headless stack on Sanity or Contentful, consolidating storefronts on Salesforce Commerce Cloud or Shopify Plus, merging domains after an acquisition: each one rewrites thousands of URLs at once. Without a full URL inventory, a tested 301 map, template parity checks and a crawl of the staging environment before launch, years of authority are at risk from launch day. SEO sign-off belongs in the launch gate, not in the retrospective.

04

Hreflang across markets and CMSes

A product sold across 17 storefronts and 8 languages, as at Philips, needs every variant to reference every other variant with a matching return tag, and an explicit x-default. When two CMSes render different markets, each one has to output the same hreflang set from the same source of truth, or the cluster breaks silently. We specify it once, generate it from a shared mapping, and verify with the Merkle hreflang tester and a Screaming Frog crawl after every release.

05

Getting the ticket prioritised is half the job

An enterprise SEO fix can be correct, documented and still sit in the backlog for quarters because it competes with a checkout feature and a legal deadline. The agency that wins is the one that can put a revenue number on the ticket, name the template and the markets it affects, attend sprint planning, and accept a smaller change that ships over a perfect one that does not. Change management is part of enterprise SEO, not an add-on.

06

Enterprise SEO platforms are not a strategy

Botify, Lumar and similar enterprise SEO platforms are good at one thing: crawling very large sites continuously and alerting on change. They do not decide which template to fix first, write the ticket, or argue the case in release planning. If you already license one, we work inside it. If you do not, Screaming Frog run at scale, GSC exports per property and raw log files give a senior consultant everything needed, at a fraction of the licence cost.

Why LASEO vs alternatives

Enterprise SEO agencies compared honestly

Big-network agencies, enterprise SEO platforms with a services desk, freelancers and in-house teams all have legitimate use cases. Here is where a senior enterprise SEO partner fits and where it does not.

Typical enterprise agency

Audits and waits

  • A 200-page PDF with hundreds of findings, unranked, unattached to templates. Lands in a shared drive. Nobody turns it into work.
  • Recommendations emailed to the marketing lead, who forwards them to IT. Months later the ticket is still in the backlog with no owner.
  • None. Each region, agency and CMS invents its own URL, canonical and hreflang rules. Duplicate pages and broken clusters follow.
  • Consulted the week before launch, if at all. Redirect map written from memory. Authority lost, then blamed on the algorithm.
  • One global organic line across all markets and storefronts. Cannot tell which country is growing or which template broke.
  • A director in the pitch, a junior account manager after signature, a rotating cast of analysts you have never met.
LASEO

Ships through your release train

  • A crawl segmented by template and market, every finding scored on URLs affected and revenue exposure, delivered as a prioritised Jira backlog with acceptance criteria.
  • Tickets refined with your engineering lead, pull requests opened where we have repo access, deploys verified with a re-crawl and a log-file check.
  • One governance document (URL rules, canonicals, hreflang spec, redirect policy, indexation, schema) that every team builds against, signed by your platform owner.
  • SEO sign-off gate in the launch checklist: URL inventory, tested 301 map, template parity, staging crawl, launch-day and post-launch monitoring.
  • Looker Studio split by market, storefront and template, GSC per property, GA4 per market. Monthly scorecard for the steering meeting.
  • Senior consultants only. The people who crawled your site sit in your steering meeting and refine tickets with your engineers.

Honest answers about enterprise SEO LASEO

What buyers actually ask before signing an enterprise SEO retainer.

LASEO senior consultants reviewing a template-level crawl for an enterprise site

Enterprise SEO is SEO for a site where the scale of the estate and the number of stakeholders change how the work has to be done. Traditional SEO optimises pages: rewrite the title, add the content, build the links. Enterprise SEO optimises templates and rules, because thousands of URLs are rendered by a handful of templates and one canonical bug repeats across every market. It also has to move through legal, brand, product, IT and regional marketing, and through a release train that only ships on schedule. Crawl budget, log-file analysis, hreflang across storefronts, migration governance and per-market reporting are the daily work. Our recommendation: before hiring anyone, list your templates and who owns each one. If nobody can produce that list, that is the first deliverable.
